Autumn offers beautiful vistas of aspens changing in Teller County. This photo was shot into the sun so that the leaves transmit full color through each leaf.	At first the view of aspens, boulder and barbed wire may appear rather pedestrian. However, I think of the combination as iconic of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. I grew up appreciating the synergy.
Climbing to the Crags, one crosses a beautiful open meadow with these shoulders of Pikes Peak due north.	An old farm implement lies behind the barn off US24. Makes a great foreground for the 14'er.
Rock Pond at Mueller State Park. A nice five mile round trip hike. Plan on the elevation gain returning though.
